The mission of Lone Oak United Methodist Church is to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ through Prayer, Worship, Study, Witness, and Service. We invite all persons to join us on this journey.
Our front entrance is off the Lone Oak Road/Highway 45 four lane just past Milner and Orr Funeral home on the lelft toward Mayfield.
Purpse of United Methodist Women:
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ: to develop a creative, supportive fellowship: and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
The United Methodist Women (UMW) of Lone Oak United Methodist Church meets 4 times a year. The meetings are on Sunday at noon immediately after the worship service. Lunch is served. See the calendar for meeting dates.
In addition to the unit there are 4 sub-groups which are called circles. The names of the circles are as follows: Ava Sanderson, JJ’s, Lydia, and Wesleyan. These circles meet monthly. See the calendar for meeting dates and times.
